Walmart death

I think that both Walmart and the shoppers share the fault for this death. The shoppers share the fault, since they actually did the killing, but so does Walmart for not taking simple measures to prevent this from occurring.

All that standing in line mental conditioning during our school years just doesn't stick with us as adults. When you turn your store temporarily into an amusement ride, it seems that it would be good judgement to control the crowd like amusement parks normally do. They have no problem keeping people in single file, and this simple move would have prevented this death.

If the goofy shoppers want to fight it out, they can do it outside away from the people trying to make a living inside. I use to think running with the bulls was a moronic idea.

My previous post listed some positions in which you can get away scott free with killing someone without an ounce of accountability: President of The United States, over-paid Blackwater mercenary, and one in a crowd. I realize there are more, such as corporate oligarchy henchman.

I agree that the killers should be held accountable, not for murder, but perhaps involuntary manslaughter. Walmart should also be held accountable, not by those who may want to exaggerate some minor injury to achieve a quick windfall, but by the family of the poor gentleman that lost his life.

Walmart does hold responsibility for not making sure this man had a safe employment environment, and not taking the appropriate precautions to ensure safety when they knew shoppers would act this way based on past years of experience.

I am with you that I don't want a few greedy butts to taint what this accountability is suppose to represent, and I don't want to feed the Republican anti-lawyer talking points. They have convinced workers that their only means of clout when dealing with their bosses is a bad thing. They would love to convince 95% of us not to trust our only means of intelligent representation within our legal system, though they utilize them daily.
