sarah palin's deffinition of VP duties
sarah palin said on TV on july 31 that she needed someone to tell her what the VP's duties were. last week i saw john mccain at one of his town hall meetings say (with that bizarre evil grin of his) that the only two duties of the VP are to attend state funerals and to inquire daily as to the president's health. i'm sure that's exactly how he sees it -- just a silly and ceremonial formality -- so we can assume that's the description he gave palin when she asked him. according to that, of course she's up to the task! it'll be interesting to watch her find out that there really is much more to the job. there are so many things wrong with this picture!!
