and pull in disaffected Hillary supporters, and in doing so, he has actually taken away the one point they keep trying to use against Obama---experience. Compared to Palin, Obama is a seasoned veteran. She has been in office less than two years, running a state that has less population than a lot of major US cities, and isn't even the kind of repub that conservatives get all warm and fuzzy about.

Let's face it, McCain's VP pick is more important for him than for most previous presidential candidates because of his age and because of some concerns raised about his mental acuity. If repubs want to chant the mantra that Obama isn't prepared to be president, how the hell can they claim that Palin is?
