Media Moron: John McCain
Watch: Media Moron: John McCain
It really is a sad day in American politics when the man running for the highest office in the USA has to rip off a speech from Wikipedia. That's why this week's Media Moron award goes to GOP Presidential candidate John McCain.

Illusion:: DON'T PLAY THEIR GAME.
In the last few days the Republicans have been trying to convince us that McCain has pulled ahead in the polls. This is a lie and there is no way that this country is ready to continue in the same direction with the same policies. Everyone knows the president's ratings and Congress's as well.
Republicans have planned to come out in the tenth hour and convince us that 51% of the country wants McCain. It's always just a smidge over 50 percent. That's the minimum they need to steal the election and not look too obvious. What are the mathematical odds that this country has been divided exactly right down the middle three times in a row. The odds are astronomical.
Every freshman college student knows that gathering data is tricky business. The pool of subjects tested or polled must be strenuously defined and control groups must be used to check results. These polls are sloppy and how the outcomes are defined is never explained. This is not acceptable in this type of "so called" fact finding. No one in any other arena accepts statistics like these without qualifiers. We've been conditioned to just take these polls on blind faith. This is simple minded and "they" are making their move to make their theft seem plausible. Duping us like kindergarteners year after year.
I talk to every Democrat I know and ask them if they have ever been polled legitimately for any presidential election. I say legitimately because I was supposedly "surveyed" by Mitt Romney"s bunch. The call asked me questions like " Would I vote for someone who believed in the killing of innocent unborn children." Crap like that. This, of course, was not a real poll. No Democrat I have ever asked has ever been polled about Presidential choice. I ask people all the time and they always answer, "no".
There is no reason for the polls to be shifting anyway. This Georgia thing, yeah right. Obama looked to uppity this week. UM sure. CNN works for them. That was obvious when they laughed out loud at Dennis K's articles of impeachment. They revealed who they were and if people don't wake up and smell the roses we'll be living without health care and paying for everything 20 times more as everything is privatized by cronies. Even if you believe these so called polls that wouldn't stand up to a any freshman professor criteria for a well done study, no one on Obama's side should be repeating them. Let them carry that burden.
We should only be repeating the polls that support our candidates. Even if one feels they must address what is being said by controlled mass media, the facts of ratings and other polls should always be held up for perspective. Repetition of their lie molds reality. They know this and thats why they do it. These polling businesses are as corrupt as any of these other corrupt businesses that spew Republican agendas.
We must question and demand information on exactly how these polls are conducted and where etc etc. Accepting these polls just because some so and so from some supposedly legitimate business says so is stupidity supreme. I demand proof of such important information and I would never repeat anything that would hurt my efforts unless I felt compelled to dispute it directly. Their biggest and most successful tactics are Weapons of Mass Deception and forcing us to accept this without proof and repeat it.
