You say, 'We can't expect politicians to be perfect', maybe not but we should expect them to be respectful and ethical. What John Edwards did, and Elizabeth too by going along with his candidacy, was show disrespect to the people of this country and the office of the president. One of the things that is corrupting this country is that we have lowered our standards. We need to expect our politicians to stand for higher morals. Infidelity, is breaking your marriage vows, which I think are sacred. If someone would violate those vows, whose to say, what would be next. I was so excited when John Edwars got into the race and now I feel so betryed. As far as I'm concerned, his political career is over. I had hoped he would be the next attorney general.
