McCain flew over North Viet Nam and dropt bombs on innocent civilians. He murdered men, women, and children. He destroyed homes and businesses.
The 'homeland' defenders of North Viet Nam shot down McCain's plane, 'detained' him, applied 'agressive interrogation techniques', tried and convicted him in their 'military tribunal', and confined him to prison as was their right to defend their 'homeland' in the name of their 'national security'.
Using McCain's own terminology, America does not need a verified 'war criminal' / 'terrorist' as President.
