I usually watch you on MSNBC and truly admire your savy and objectivity. Am I the only one making the following connection Re: the timing of Iraq's demands for withdrawl of our troops?
McCain's lack of diplomatic skills is absolutely appalling. I don't understand why people are so suprised that Iraq now wants a timeline for American troops withdrawal. If I were at the head of any country and heard American politicians planning to maintain occupation in my country for a hundred years, I would most definitely demand a deadline. It is this kind of arrogance in underestimating other nations' intelligence, technology, and attention to American politics that has destroyed our image abroad and impeded our international relations. He may not wear cowboy boots, but he is possibly even worse than Bush.
