News:
Public health advocates are desperately trying to raise funds to save 1-800-SUICIDE, the nation’s best-known suicide hotline, scheduled to be shut down at midnight tonight. The federal agency that funds the hotline says it decided to cut off its support; spokespeople for the hotline say that any government replacement can’t—or won’t—guarantee callers’ confidentiality, and that the government has owed them $266,00 for more than 2 years. Once the hotline goes dark, federal health officials hope to direct callers to their own replacement line, which will give them access to callers’ phone data. More information can be found at www.save1800suicide.org.

Jimtors 'cut-n-run' from the Bush Administration & Republican Congress. He can't defend the failed policies of the last six years so he throws out the 'liberal' tag with 'illogical'.
I think it's illogical to spend $100,000.00/minute in Iraq when the Bush Administration owes KBHC $266,000 from over 2 years ago.
Where do you stand, Jim ?
"...KBHC network covers more than 200 crisis centers with 20 different distinct peer support hotlines such as the Youth America Hotline, veterans hotlines, postnatal depression moms hotline, etc... 1-800-SUICIDE stands firm in its commitment to provide the best hotline support network with complete confidentiality of the caller's identity..."
