Civilian Lebanese Death Toll Mounts

News:

Westerners are fleeing Lebanon in the thousands as Israel’s bombardment of the country continues, in air and artillery attacks that have left as many as 200 Lebanese civilians dead. Israeli casualties are also on the rise, as Hezbollah continues to fire rockets and missiles deeper into Israel’s interior. Though Israeli commanders promise the incursion will last weeks and may soon involve ground forces, both Israel and Syria have signaled a willingness to negotiate.

I live a mile from Pearl Harbor, three miles to Hickam AFB, 15 miles to Schofield and Wheeler, 25 miles to Kaneohe MCAS, 5 miles to Schofield Barracks. My wife is retired Navy and a contractor to the military. Friends in the Reserve and active. I found very few who are thrilled about this.
